A huge congratulations to Julian Collings, our Chief Pig Steward, for his accomplishments at the Great Yorkshire Show last July.
Not only did Julian, with his British Lop Liskeard Lulu 59, secure the Interbreed Supreme Championship but went one better and took the coveted title of the BPA Pig of the Year 2023. The first time that a British Lop has won it!
Julian has been a steward with the Royal Cornwall Show for around 30 years, and has been our Departmental Steward for the Pig Section since 2013. In 2023, the Pig Section at the Show had been the biggest we have seen for many years, with nearly 250 animals entered. Well done to Julian and his team for what is an incredible result.
