As one of the finest open-air arenas in the country, the Main Ring is the place to be for edge-of-your-seat excitement. Across the three days of the Show, there is a non-stop timetable for of exciting and colourful acts and presentations. Whether you are watching a breath-taking stunt show, or admiring a parade of our prize-winning livestock, it is the perfect place to take a break, grab an ice cream, and enjoy the entertainment. A full Main Ring line up will be available closer to the Show.
Highlights
JCB Dancing Diggers

One of the most prolific display acts across the world, known as the down to earth 'Red Arrows', the JCB Dancing Diggers will be performing incredible tricks on four (very big) wheels!

The Cornwall Airport Newquay Shetland Pony Grand National

Kindly supported by Cornwall Airport Newquay, these pint sized ponies and their jockeys will be racing around the Main Ring, all with the aim of qualifying for the Finals at the London International Horse Show in December. The series rasies money for the Bob Champion Trust.

RAF Falcons

'Dropping in' everyday*, the RAF Falcons can be seen heading for the Main Ring from high above the showground, where 'X' marks the spot.

Grand Parades

Showcasing the prize winners from our Livestock & Equine sections. This is a great opportunity to see all breeds and types in one place. A real spectacle for the eyes.

Showjumping

The top riders from across the region come and compete for the prestigious prizes in the Show Jumping section. The perfect balance of speed and accuracy is needed to take the spoils.

The Inter Hunt Relay

Kindly supported by the Kernow Vet Group, the Inter Hunt relay is a fast and intense relay race between local hunt teams. Progressing through the heats, the final is on Saturday. Which team will get bragging rights for the next year?

Cornish Mascot Challenge

Taking place on the last afternoon of the Show, come and see some familiar faces race around the Main Ring for your entertainment!
