How do I become a Member?

You can become a member in several ways:
1. Purchase a membership online
2. Purchase a membership over the counter at the Show Office (Open Mon-Fri, 9am – 5pm)
3. Over the telephone by calling the Membership Team – 01208 817014

When will I receive my Membership Badge and passes?

Members’ packs, including members’ badges are typically posted out in early May. If you order a Membership in May, you should receive your pack in the post a few working days later. If you order a membership online, there is no digital ticket, just a confirmation email, all members’ packs are a physical product. If you have any concerns that you have not received your members’ pack, please contact the team – 01208 817014

I am an existing Member and want to renew my membership, how do I do that?

Again, there are several ways to do this, the same as above, the main three options are online, over the counter, or by telephone. You can also set up a direct debit, which means your annual membership will be automatically renewed each year. We tend to renew memberships in late January/early February, and your pack is automatically sent to you in May. To set up a direct debit membership contact 01208 817014

I am a member and my contact details have changed, what do I do?

It is very important that we are made aware of any changes in name, postal address and contact details for a member so we can ensure that all correspondence, including your Members’ badges and passes for admission, are sent to the right person, as well as any information about subscription prices and deadlines. If you need to update your contact details, please call the office on 01208 817014 or email

Can I purchase Memberships at the gate?

Unfortunately memberships have to be purchased prior to the Royal Cornwall Show and cannot be purchased on the gates. Online membership closes on Thursday 30th May at 11:59pm to allow time for members’ packs to be posted. Telephone orders for postage will also close on Thursday 30th May, again to allow time for delivery. After this point, memberships must be collected in person at the Show Office prior to first day of the Show. You can purchase a membership up until the Wednesday, the day before the Show, at the Show office, and purchase over the counter.

Can I gift a membership?

Yes, we do offer gift membership for all types of memberships. We will post our a gift membership pack which includes a personalised gift membership certificate, which includes a message of your choice, within a presentation folder. We can either post this to the recipient directly, or to the buyer. If you would like to gift a membership, you can fill in our form or contact the Membership Team on 01208 817014

I have an Annual Membership and cannot attend the Show, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Memberships work as an annual subscription to support the activities of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, and therefore non-attendance is not an adequate reason for a refund. Complimentary Show admission is just a benefit of this subscription.

I am a Member and want to bring a guest to the Show?

Daily guest badges are available for fully paid-up members to purchase. Guest badges will give guests access to the Members’ Pavilion and its facilities, guest badges DO NOT permit access to the Show and a separate admission ticket must be purchased for the guest to enter the showground.

How many guest badges can a member purchase?

Guest badges are limited to 5 per Show day/per household. In other words, if multiple members are registered at the same address, the allocation is for the household, not for individual members.

Can I bring a dog into the Members’ Pavilion?

Yes! Dogs are very welcome in the Members' Pavilion. We ask that dogs are kept on a non-retractable lead and are kept to the Members’ back lawn and the Pavilion Centre, but are kept away from the light refreshment and bar areas, as well as the members’ marquees.

Are there refreshments in the Members’ Pavilion?

There is a wide range of food and drink available to purchase in the Members' Pavilion. There are light refreshments served in the Tregothnan Hall in the Pavilion. There is also a food court located on the lawn at the rear of the building, as well as a fully stocked bar. There is also an exclusive restaurant for Members’ use only. This restaurant, run by Scott Young and his team, sources local and seasonal ingredients to produce a delicious multi-course lunch on the first two days of the Show. Advanced booking is highly recommended, contact Scott Young on 07591 203113 or email to book a table.
