Take me back

The Cornish Winter Fair is back for two days in November.

One of Cornwall’s most popular food and farming events returns in November, occurring all under one roof at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre in Wadebridge, on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November.

After the success of running the event over two days for the first time in 2022, the weekend format is continued for this year.

Honorary Show Secretary Chris Riddle said:

“We were pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm shown by the local community when the Cornish Winter Fair ran for two days last year. So much so, we are continuing to run it across both Saturday and Sunday.”

The Wadebridge Prime Stock Show, which is incorporated into the event, takes place on the Saturday only , with classes in cattle, sheep, produce, and a variety of crafts and cookery, very much part of its 144 year history.

The Cornish Winter Fair, the retail side of the event, will span across both Saturday 18th , and Sunday 19th November. Nearly 150 local trade stands will be showcasing a wide range of quality food, drink, crafts, and much more – perfect for a bit of early Christmas Shopping!

There is also an Education Zone for the little ones, where they can learn all about local food and farming with hands on activities such as colouring, jigsaws, and even have a go at milking our (model) goat Demelza.

We also have a Rare Breed exhibit with live animals such as goats, sheep and pigs!

A perfect family day out.

Parking and entry is free for visitors, and doors will open at 10am on both days.
