Poultry

The poultry section at the Royal Cornwall Show is, consistently, one of the biggest and, in quality terms, one of the best in the country.

In the various classes that make up the poultry section competitions, entries are at an all-time healthy level this year.

Decorated eggs have fared very well too and there has been a great response to the photographic competition with around 80 entries from around the county.

These are not 'catalogue shots' but mainly pictures of the poultry kept in the back garden or down the field. It demonstrates what a keen interest there is.

There are also classes for turkeys.
