Festival of Dance

The Cornwall Festival of Dance has grown in a few short years from humble beginnings to a major event with a big reputation.

It was first staged in 2003 at the Royal Cornwall Show, which is a superb location.

Here there is a programme of dancing on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, the programme continues but don't miss the procession which winds its way round the avenues of the showground.

The festival concentrates on traditional dance from Cornwall, the south west and around the country. But there is modern dance too - this year you will see Cornish, Cotswold, Border, Clog, Appalachian, Cajun, Jazz, line and circle dancing.
