Goats

Goats were one of the very first animal species to be domesticated. Those who know about these things reckon that was between 6,000 and 7,000 years ago!

Despite all those years in human company, they will quickly go feral, left to their own devices.

Most modern goat breeds can be traced back to the Bezoar goat found from the mountains of Asia Minor across the Middle East to Sind.

You are unlikely to find the Bezoar at this year's Royal Cornwall Show but you'll find plenty of his cousins. People love goats and this is the place to discover why.
