Ring Programme

What happens when a tree falls over - or you want one felled - in an inaccessible place? How do you get it milled?

One answer is to call for the mobile saw mill. Some are tractor-driven; some stand-alone.

It's just one of the practical solutions you will be able to see in the woodland and forestry ring.

There's lots of other fascinating stuff happening too - a firewood processor for instance.

In addition to the above ring events, the Forestry Area will feature a wide range of displays and demonstrations throughout the three days in and around the Forestry Barn.
