Welcum onan hag oll.
Welcome one and all.
The Royal Cornwall Show is
the premier annual event of the
Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association.
For further information click here.
Two fantastic acts – both first-timers at the show – headline a tremendous main-ring line-up for 2012.
Around the showground there is further great entertainment
The Adrenaline Tour is “an awesome quad and motorcycle stunt show” which will thrill audiences twice daily.
The show includes everything from motorbike stunts with wheelies and ‘stoppies’ to quad riding with hair-raising freestyle jumps 30ft in the air.
You can also visit the Adrenaline Tour display stand after the show to meet the main man - Jason Smyth - and the team.
Her Majesty the Queen’s 60th Jubilee will be celebrated in style at the Royal Cornwall Show. There will be competitions, displays and a great party atmosphere.
Keep watching the site for details.
A three-day polo spectacular in the main ring will bring some of the UK’s top international players and ponies to Cornwall.
Each day, two teams will compete for first-ever Royal Cornwall Show trophy. There will be one match each day, comprising four chukkas each lasting around five minutes.
Polo is a fast sport, full of drama. The horses are fit and agile and can turn on a sixpence. Their riders are expert in steering a ton of horse around the pitch, whilst keeping their eye on the ball.
We’ve seen them before and they will play to packed houses.
One by one, different breeds make their entrance as presenter Richard Savory describes their history and the characteristics of the breed.
Don’t miss the Sheep Show Hustle. Yes, it’s dancing sheep!

Want to see ducks being herded? Then head for the countryside area.
The dog and duck show will happen twice a day with Stuart Barnes showing just how much skill is needed to get them to go where you want them to be.
Dogs herding ducks is great entertainment but it also tells a age-old story of man and dogs working together. In the real world, man and dogs are working with sheep.
It’s ten years since the festival began at the Royal Cornwall Show.
Now it’s a permanent and colourful feature which provides super entertainment as well as introducing all kinds of dance to an appreciative audience.
There’s a full three-day programme on the festival stage and dancing around the showground on Saturday.
The Duke of Cornwall’s Award, a prestigious award for the development of business skills in young people, is now seeking nominations.
